The requirement was to communicate the quality of Moon Workshop’s work and service – giving potential clients confidence in what they can deliver.
Moon Workshop is a sister company of Moon Design; they are a high-end construction company with a focus on furniture and fit-out.
The solution was to create a WordPress website using and developing their existing branding to showcase past projects.
We stuck to a monochrome colour palette of black, white and grey. In colour psychology, black’s colour meaning is symbolic of mystery, power, elegance, and sophistication. We also wanted the images to shine out and speak for themselves without the distraction of strong brand colours.
The choice of fonts and the use of transitions, such as the slow fading-in of images, increases the sense of quality.
The site utilises the WordPress block editor without the need for page builders like Elementor. This helps the site’s overall performance and improves the page load time.
